Hen party theme idea - hens and other birds

Hen party has derived from a loud ladies only party where semi-drunk ladies were chuckling like a bunch of hens in a village. Organizing a unique party you can remember this historical fact and choose a theme “birds” for you hen night. No one will be wondering what costumed women are doing not in Halloween time, because everyone will see the bunch of gaggling hens, geese, ducks, peacocks, seagulls and other colorful and loud speaking birds. The bride-to-be can be a most gracious white bird - the swan. Just do not turn birds hen party to ballet hen party :)

This theme is a little difficult, because you will need some feathers if you decide to create all the clothes yourselves. Maybe you will need a sewing machine to make sure feathers will stay all the night. The other option is to buy ready clothes in one of carnival dresses shops. They may be costly as artificial feathers are expensive.

Also you should not forget the appropriate sounds of birds. You can get some whistlers imitating bird sounds in some hunting shops online. In general your laugh will be enough to keep the gagling going all the night.

The meaningful idea behind the bird costumes are not intellectual capabilities of hens, ducks or peacocks. The birds are colorful personalities. Also, flying birds are associated with freedom which is dreamed off by every person, who has no wings. All the girls should fly away from their wedding problems and feel the freedom. Please remember not to jump from the bridge to check if you can fly with artificial wings and feathers. :)

Hen party venues can be associated with flying - hot air balloon flight, party in amusement park etc. As costumes are really impressive, do not forget to make lots of photos and shoot some videos.
