The week before every woman’s wedding is full of stress, therefore there is a wanderfull tradition to get away from a routine in hen party. UK is the country where such tradition has begun few hundred years ago. Hen night and slug party have been traditional dinner for groom's and bride’s friends and relatives so called best friends and maids. Later the tradition came to USA. All other countries took some traditions from American bachelor’s nigh and eventually has some national traditions and party scenarios.
Hen party in UK is celebrated as costume party where participants dress up like maids, angels and devils, concubines, strippers and other characters. Slug night participants have their own characters - priests, gentlemen, middle-age noblemen, pirates, movie heroes etc. Usually the bride (and groom) gets the exclusive role among the other participant with special tasks. Usually these tasks are related to future life in marriage and husband (wife).
The parties are initiated and organized by the closest friends of bride and groom. The organizers must be really skilled and have some good ideas to organize the best hen party in UK. Of course some costs are involved as you cannot find the bar with free drinks. The hen night must be remembered for the rest of one’s life, therefore lots of original parties are held in the United Kingdom.
The only requirement for such bachelorette night is creativity and original scenario. If it will be like hundreds of others, it will seem like any regular drink party with crazy tipsy women.
